School Fun

About a month ago Elsie and Elliot came home being the student of the week. Each week the teacher picks a student who has been working hard and they get a little award.  I love when my kids get them at the same time.  Parents get to go and see them get the award.  Elliot is loving kindergarten and working really hard.

Elsie won a contest in her grade for writing about synergising. Her poster got framed and put in the hall. She is loving 5th grade and her awesome teacher Mrs Duhaine. Elsie did a great job and works hard on her work. I have recently discovered she likes to write.

Elsie has also had to do some reports and loves it.  She studied some spices and made a treat to share with the class. She wanted a picture of it before it got thrown away, it was already starting to get torn up.  She and I made a pumpkin crumble. It was a big hit with the students.

Fall days

Leaves are falling like crazy. For some reason two of our trees are late bloomers and also the last to loose their leaves. With leaves falling means cold weather. We are spending more time inside and wearing sweaters.

This girl is a family favorite.

Reyen loves to be outside and I am so sad we are loosing the warm sunny days.

Camden was so happy when he could finally jump on the trampoline. Two months in a cast was really hard.

Halloween

We headed off to grandma Wilcox's work for trick or treating. The kids love it. Elliot was hulk hogan without the muscles. Camden was a transformer. The costumes were handy downs from their cousin. Kaden couldn't find his costume so he wore dad's high school football jersey. Elsie's costume got ruined at her school party. Luckily she had a second one on hand. Not sure if she is a nurse or doctor. Reyen had bunny ears to make Elsie happy. I never dress my babies up for halloween when they can't walk and Elsie really wanted Reyen to have something. The ears ended up coming off because Reyen's head wasn't big enough.

Young Rylan got to stay home with dad. He made some sad choices at school and lost out on some fun things this year. I was really sad he didn't get to participate with us. He wasn't too excited about it.

Reyen 4 months old

Reyen turned 4 months 2 weeks ago on October 24th. Most of these photos were take that day. This is what she can does now:
Weighs almost 13 lbs and measures 25 1/2 inches long.
Sleeps around 11- 12 hours at night.
Eats 5-6 ounces of formula 4 times a day.
Absolutely loves blankets over her face.
LOVES to watch dad. I think it's because he calls her beautiful Reyen.
Is very ticklish.
Loves to stand and take steps.
Plays with toys.
Almost sits up by herself. She is so close.
Gets extremely upset when she wants to eat.
Tries to pull herself up to sitting when reclining.
Sucks her fingers. Puts herself to sleep sucking her right thumb.
Laughs and smiles so much.
Takes naps better.
Watches everything her siblings do.
Talks a bunch when she should be settling down for sleep.
