Last day of school!

These kids were in a hurry to get to school on the last day and some didn't appreciate mom catching this moment on camera. I don't know what Kaden was doing with his fingers.

Kaden finished the 3rd grade with his teacher Ms Olsen. She was a great teacher and helped him overcome his shyness working in groups and in front of people.

Rylan finished up 2nd grade with Mrs. Bianuchi. He loved doing math and art.

Ms Elsie didn't want anything to do with the camera. She finished up 5th grade with Mrs. Duhaine. She loved helping her teacher with anything. She loved the plays they did, the math, and safetly patrol.

Elliot graduates kindergarten

This young man Elliot has accomplished so much this school year. He is reading great and excelling in everything he does.

Camden can't wait to be doing stuff just like his big brothers.

Dad was able to get off work a little early so he could make it to Elliot's special day. Elliot was so happy dad and grandma could come.

Reyen was ready for a nap but never actually fell asleep. She loves her dad and her finger. She only pulls is out when she is tired or has a nice fuzzy blanket.

Elliot's class video went for a long time. I only got a little bit of it.

Elliot just loves Ms Burnett! He loves her so much he wants to be in her class next year. He always had good things to say about his teacher and loved getting treats. Elliot is ready for 1st grade!

Kaden's first play

The last month or so of school Kaden had been working on a play for school. He was a little nervous about it but practiced and knew his lines by heart and was ready for the real thing.

Kaden sure did get a laugh out of the crowd. The play actually did use Elsie's name in it. Not sure if the teacher did that on purpose but it was easy for Kaden to remember.
He also had another part in the play but I wasn't fast enough to record it.

Kaden has loved 3rd grade and his teacher Ms Olsen. They had drawing in common. She has been a great teacher for Kaden and he has really enjoyed everything she did.

Reyen's 1st birthday party

Reyen weighed in at just under 20 lbs at her 1 year checkup. She is growing too fast for me. The extra 19 lbs I carry around on my hip is starting to wear my arm down. I am sure glad she walks now and doesn't require too much holding. We had Reyen's birthday party a few days after her birthday. Grandma and grandpa, aunts, uncles and cousins came. Reyen actually opened her presents, she did have a lot of helps from siblings.

I have to say, Reyen's favorite present was a white shirt from aunt Michelle. She carried it around everywhere.

I made a banana cake with cheese cream frosting the day before. Reyen had leftover pieces so I knew she liked it. I made the mistake of keeping in cold too long and it didn't have time to thaw completely. I was really worried about it.

Reyen wasn't too interested in eating the cake. After the strawberries she didn't care for any of it and wanted to get down. I finally got her a spoon and she started feeding herself the frosting eating little bits here and there.

This is about as messy as this girl got.

I thought she might go face first. Nope.

Here's the final birthday face. She didn't make a mess but she sure did have fun. Happy birthday pretty Reyen!

Last bite of cake.

Reyen started cleaning herself off without being asked. She wasn't worried about how cold the water was.

Our sweet little Reyen is such a joy to have. I am glad I finally got another girl. She makes us all a little more nice and sweet in return. I think Heavenly Father really did know what he was doing when he sent me lots of boys. An older sister to keep them in line and a younger one to keep them kind.
