Holidays

December came and went so fast. The kids all got to have school parties and Elliot was the only one who didn't eat his treats before I could take a picture.

 Christmas Eve
This is what our tree looked like on Christmas Eve. Do you see the hole in the middle of the tree? It cracks me up. the kids put the tree up and I guess I didn't supervise so well. They love all the ornaments I have from when I was younger and the ones they get every year from Santa. The kids were all so excited for Santa to come. We had treats ready and notes ready. Kaden and Rylan kept waking up in the night because they couldn't sleep. We invited Spinney over and decided to open presents when she got there.

Aunt Michelle sent all the children Christmas pajamas. She did an awesome job of picking out fun ones. They loved them.

Thanks aunt Michelle and uncle Paul.

 Christmas morning
We waited for Spinney to get to our house. We were a little worried since we finally got snow during the night. We read the Christmas story and by the time we finished Spinney was there. The kids were so excited.
Reyen's first Christmas. She turned 6 months Christmas eve. She loved all the excitement and presents. She even pulled at some of the wrapping.

Random pictures of the kids opening presents.

Elliot loved everything he got especially his dump truck.
Rylan got lots of puzzles. and art stuff. He is taking after his brother but instead of drawing up plans he has become interested in animals and trucks.
Kaden scored on art supplies. He loves to draw. If he isn't goofing off with his brothers he is either drawing or reading a book. This boy is talented. I won't be surprised if he becomes and architect.
Elsie loved all her presents but she decided that she wasn't too happy about getting her picture taken.
Little Reyen loved playing with wrapping paper and Elliot's new soccorball. She got this cute new outfit from Spinney too.

Camden got an awesome dump truck that went straight outside in the mud. He didn't want it inside at all. Christmas was great playing in the snow.
This was the only time that Reyen let Spinney hold her. She is very leery of strangers and after getting use to Spinney Reyen was happy to play with her.

  1. Seeing your Christmas pictures reminds me of Christmas growing up. It's fun to see all the kids and the interests they have and how excited they were with their pile of presents! Elsie looks so tall!
