Elsie 5th grade Patriotic program

The beginning of March Elsie's 5th grade put on a Patriotic Program for their families. They have been practicing this program since the beginning of the year. Elsie has been really excited about it. She said they spent many hard and boring hours practicing.

This dance Elsie did was my favorite. She was working so hard on doing all the right steps she didn't smile much.

 

Elsie's grandma Wilcox made the dress. Elsie's favorite thing about the dress was it had sleeves and was modest. The school provided feathers and beads.

I asked Elsie how she thought her program went after it was all done. She commented that she was nervous the whole time. She did a great job and looked so cute. I was so happy to see her participate and have a fun time.

We loved to see the kids particiate in this program and for the history they learned along the way.
