Reyen is 1!

This past month I have been reminiscing about my little Reyen and still can't believe this bundle of joy is getting bigger. One year ago my tummy was ginormous and a person was growing in me. This past year I have been amazed at how much Reyen learns. I can see her mind at work and she is always learning something. Just the other day Reyen put some crumpled paper on Mike's chest. She thought that was funny. Mike took a few breaths and then blew the paper back to her. She looked in amazement at what he had just done. She then started making her lips blow like him.

Things Reyen does now:
*She walks not falls now. The first week she started walking Reyen constantly fell. Her second week she was a pro.
*Reyen loves her soft blanket. The boys have let her get it out of bed and when she does she cuddles. She lays down with her blanket and sucks her thumb.
*Reyen has started signing more. We have watched some movies and I have relearned some signs.
She currently knows how to say more, please, sorry, and sleep.
*Reyen is eating real food. She loves to pick up her own food and eat. She has gotten picky about her taste. With baby food she always eats a small first bite first to see if she likes it. With real food she throws it on the ground if she doesn't want it. I have started putting her in her bed when she starts to throw her food. That is where she has learned the sorry sign. I have started having her sign sorry and give me a kiss. She is getting good at kisses and loves to give the boys kisses now.
*Reyen is using a fork. eats better if we fill a fork full of food. She loves to eat by herself.
*She is now realizing what the boys do when then take her toys and is starting to cry and holler when something is taken from her.
*Reyen loves everyone. She is getting better about being with others. Instead of crying she just watches them now. She loves all kids and loves her siblings the most.

Reyen tried her first lime and had a love hate relationship with them. She didn't like the taste but kept going back for more.

Here Reyen continues to try. She never gave up. Oh, what a great example of never giving up and trying over and over to get it right. And she has.
